Samir wins a stylish "miniature" for Luton A

To accompany Tommy's annotated board one win in the games section, we have this nice miniature from Samir for Luton A first away match against the Open University last month.

Samir played an accelerated Dragon which post match, Fritz evalulated as equal at Black's seventh move. However, White's Queen was perhaps misplaced on the c-file after castling long, allowing Black to apply pressure with a Rook on c8 and a fire breathing Dragon Bishop on g7. Samir's Knight attack forced White's Queen to move and Black's c8-Rook to point directly at White's c2-Pawn in front of White's King, for textbook finish mate in three.
